What to Do in Somerset
Drawing many settlers from Somerset County, N.J., this community came together in the late 18th century. Two Civil War battles—Mill Springs and Dutton's Hill—occurred nearby. However, due to the creation of Lake Cumberland circa 1950, the area is now best known for recreation. Tubing, fishing, camping and hiking are popular pastimes.
