What to Do in Fort Saskatchewan

Fort Saskatchewan is located along the North Saskatchewan River, about 25 kilometres (15.5 mi.) northeast of Edmonton. The city has more than 30 kilometres (18.6 mi.) of multiuse pathways and sidewalks and numerous parks and recreation areas. It is known for the flock of sheep that graze in Peter T. Ream Historic Park during the summer months. The historic park, at 101st Street and 101st Avenue, is home to the Fort Saskatchewan Museum, which encompasses such historical structures as the 1875-85 North West Mounted Police Fort and the 1937 Warden's House; phone (780) 998-1783.
