Parque Explora is an interactive science museum, a planetarium, a public experimentation lab —the Exploratorio— and an educational aquarium focused on conservation and animal welfare. It protects numerous species that are victims of wildlife trafficking. It’s a major refuge that helps break the chain of suffering and gives threatened life new possibilities. Environmental authorities report that over 90% of trafficked species do not survive. Located in the north of the city—an area that once housed the landfill—it has transformed from stigma into a vibrant social meeting place and a symbol of change through education.
