Overview
Phan Xi Phang, Fansipan, or Phan Si Phang is the highest mountain in Vietnam, also the highest of the three Indochina countries, which is called "Indochinese Snake" (3,143 m) in Hoang Lien Son mountain range, Sa Pa town about 9 km to the southwest. In the local dialect, the mountain is called "Hua Xi Pan" and means a giant stone plateau. Phanh Xi Peng was formed in the vicinity of the Permian - Triassic period of the Paleozoic and Great Paleozoic. There are some types of rare.
