General description The largest desert in Asia, Mongolian Gobi desert has the most spectacular view and natural phenomena. As Mongolian people define, there are supposedly 33 deserts, out of which only up to 5% is sand dunes. Despite its unbelievably majestic landscape, Gobi desert has rich mineral resources, diverse flora and fauna, thousands of unrevealed dinosaur fossils and rare paleo findings and numbers of historical and archeological sites.
