After booking with aaa we arrived to find out there was still more fees to paid. For resort fees etc. 313.65 to be exact. Then we arrive inside the room to find food on the bed. Trash still in trash cans. Tables and desk dusty and dirty with hair and prints. It was unsanitary. We finally talked to the manager after 4 times of being bribed not to talk to one. The manager Tim that I talked to said all he could do was get us a food comp because we booked through a third party company and cannot do anything about refunding us our room. He would also have someone come clean it. They took over 5 hours to come back and clean the room. I called 4 different occasions for them to come Upon checking out there was an another fee of 65.25 cents along with a random charge of 30.95 that nobody could explain what it was for. We will never go back to the vdara and never book a hotel with aaa again. Aaa never disclosed there would be extra hotel fees. On top of the $40 valet parking only option . There wasn’t any other parking options. We paid lots of extra fees thinking we were fully booked at the time of booking with aaa. Both companies should be ashamed for what we went through.

Vdara is showing its age. Both TVs locks up every few minutes. The automatic window shades sometimes goes up or down on its own. No in-room coffee. (nice to have in morning). Near-by highway noisy.
