B B Hotel Wetzlar

I was not happy with this hotel. They are expensive and you have to pay for breakfast. Not only do you have to pay for breakfast you must choose a time slot to eat and are assigned a table. We ate breakfast the first morning and because we chose 9:30 most of the meats were dried out, nothing was replenished. It was awful. Also we thought we were getting a standard double room (for 2 people) and ended up getting a room with 3 twin beds. The manager at the desk could not make any changes because we booked the room through AAA and not directly through the B&B Hotel website. You have the option to cancel your reservation up to a certain with no penalties only if you book through their website. I called AAA and they said they could not cancel the reservation once confirmed and that it should be handled by the hotel, but the hotel kept saying they could not cancel it. We ended up having to stay there for the 6 days we reserved, at high rates because we had no choice. Please let people know if they book through AAA to read everything carefully and to be aware that changes cannot be made. Will never stay at this hotel chain again and am telling anyone traveling to Europe to stay away from this chain. The only good thing I can say is that it was clean. I rate this hotel "0".
