Gaming is a big draw here: The casino is home to the only bingo room and largest sportsbook in downtown, along with a smoke-free gaming area, a rooftop pool, and multiple dining options.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino is located right in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, at the start of Fremont Street Experience. It’s an easy taxi ride from the Las Vegas Strip and the Deuce bus also stops nearby. If driving, take Route 95 or Interstate 15—there’s free parking available for hotel guests.
When to get there
The Plaza Hotel & Casino is open 24 hours a day. Weekdays and non-holiday periods typically offer a quieter experience. There are six bingo sessions daily, while the variety show is held from Wednesday through Sunday. Cabana and daybed rentals are more expensive on weekends, holidays, and for special events. Check the casino’s website for special promotions and events, including rodeo events held at the Core Arena next door.
Core Arena
Located adjacent to the Plaza Hotel & Casino, the Core Arena is the first and only outdoor equestrian center downtown. It offers 80 stalls for horses year-round and two outdoor arenas for exercises and roping practices. In addition to rodeos, the multi-purpose space also hosts other live events throughout the year.
