How to Get There

Nestled in the heart of the Canal District, Foam is easy to reach on foot or by metro, tram, or bike. Vijzelgracht metro stop is about a 10-minute walk away, while Rembrandtplein and Muntplein tram stops are both within five minutes of the museum. Some city passes include unlimited use of hop-on hop-off buses or public transit.

Check the museum’s calendar before you arrive—the main exhibitions renew yearly, and the smaller displays change every few months. Open daily, Foam generally has extended hours on Thursdays and Fridays. Free tours take place every Thursday night.
