The most convenient option for reaching Bundek City Park is to take public transportation to the nearest tram stops, including Most mladosti (served by lines 4, 5, and 14) and Sopot (served by line 6), about a 10-minute walk south of the park. You can also take a bus to the park using lines 166, 219, 220, 221, 222, 229, 234, 241, or 268 and get off at the Bundek stop. For those with a bit more time and a love for a good stroll, walking along the picturesque Sava River is a great way to enjoy the city's charm and eventually reach the park.

When to get there

While the park is beautiful throughout the year, the best time to visit is during the spring and summer months, from May to September. This is when the lush greenery is in full bloom and the park hosts a variety of cultural events, concerts, and art exhibitions. One seasonal highlight to keep in mind is the Zagreb Advent, which takes place from late November to early January and hosts various Christmas markets and events throughout the city, including in Bundek City Park. During this time, the park is transformed into a winter wonderland with festive lights, food and drink stalls, and holiday decorations.
