Ipoh is the capital city of the Malaysian state of Perak. Located by the Kinta River, it is nearly 180 km north of Kuala Lumpur, about 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. Even though it is quite far to travel, it is worthwhile to visit as it has many attractions. Gua Tempurung cave's which is the amazing rock formations is the longest cave in Peninsular Malaysia.
