Overview

Begin with a comfortable hotel pickup in Rishikesh and drive through scenic Himalayan roads to Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi River and Alaknanda River merge to form the sacred Ganges River. First, visit Vashishta Gufa, an ancient meditation cave on the Ganges, ideal for quiet reflection (closed 12 PM–3 PM). Continue to Devprayag. From the roadside, walk 20 minutes downhill, cross a suspension bridge over the Bhagirathi, stroll through the local market, and climb 10 minutes to Raghunath Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama (also closed 12 PM–3 PM). Then witness the sacred Sangam before returning to Rishikesh with a scenic stop at Teen Dhara View Point.
