A traditional wood-fire Spanish-made Jaspor oven and Basque-styled grilled steaks are the stars of the show here, at Hudson Yards’ Little Spain restaurant court, just below the High Line. Nestled in between the tapas and a whole host of Latin American quick serve counters, this high-quality eatery from chef Jose Andres stands out mightily with the live-fire grilling. Central to the room is a traditional jamon Iberico mounted on a carving stand. It is all a carnivores delight, and because of the location inside the food court, the restaurant is both family-friendly and of very good quality, a rare combination in present-day Manhattan. There are weekday lunch specials which are well-worth exploring, too.
