The newly energized downtown district of Rahway, within the orbit of greater Newark, has quietly become one of the best destinations for very well-priced, good quality Italian food in Central Jersey. The menu of artisan pizzas, homemade meatballs, and pastas are both well-presented and satisfying. The unpretentious dining room, opened in 2018, is casual, as opera plays in the background, and the wood-fired oven casts a golden glow. There is no liquor license but diners are encouraged to BYO.
