The Tower Hotel

Beautiful hotel. Our room was overlooking the Tower Bridge. Samirah, AAA counselor made an excellent choice for us.

The hotel is a bit dated. The rooms view was incredible, it was very clean and the staff were top notch. The rooms needed some updating.

Great location, solid sound proof walls Cleaning staff opened door to come into room without knocking. Sometimes dirty cups or glasses were left in room. All of the front desk lobby staff seemed to have English as a 2nd language. Shower couldn't keep a constant temp, altered from hot to cold on its own. AC was adequate but was still humid in room.

The hotel is in a great location close to everything. It is pretty clean and fairly comfortable but I give it average marks overall, While the lobby and breakfast area are clean and updated, the rooms are in DESPERATE need of remodeling and modernizing. There was a lack of electrical and USB outlets, with none near the besides so it made charging of phones and devices very difficult. There was very little space to put our suitcases let alone open them. The bathroom had a midevil feel to it with peeling paint, rusty drains, old faucetts with hot water coming out of the cold line. And there was zero ventillation in it. The air conditioning was marginal and didn't work at all during the night so we literally roasted. The hotel just needs to modernize its rooms.
