Ohia Waikiki Studio Suites

Ohia Waikiki Suites is clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Niki is a great tour resource and the added benefit is that it is on the main bus route which can take you anywhere in Honolulu. Many good restaurants offering everything from Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese cuisine and great shopping all within walking distance. If you prefer walking Waikiki beach is just two blocks away. It is a family friendly hotel. Every room has a balcony with views of the city, it has a small but clean pool and pool area. And EVERYDAY you get a goody bag filled with local juices, cookies and treats! It is NOT a flamboyant, upscale facility, however. Curtains in our room were threadbare to say the least and wallpaper peeling here and there, but if you are on a budget and intend to just be around at night to sleep, beds are clean and comfortable. The Lava Tube restaurant and bar, open 5-midnight is adjacent to the hotel and with funky decor, excellent food and Happy Hour Mai Tai for $5.00, a good way to chill after a busy day.

It is in BAD need of renovation! Dirty...no maid service...parking was not easy (small spaces and extremely tight),,,kitchenette but no cooking anything!! Countertops looked like a 2yr old cut the and put them in; crooked and frankly just a mess. Price was ok but not for what you get.
