La Quinta Inn Ste Salisbury

I’m only giving one star because of the great customer service from the front seat staff. My room had roaches and my mothers room had roaches and a mouse.

The hotel is undergoing a major renovation. The dining area has been moved to the bar area. There are many areas that are behind curtains because they look like the area is in quite disrepair. The paper is coming off the walls, the outside back doors do not open all the way, the stick on the floor. The hallway carpets are extremely dirty looking. The bathrooms are extremely small and the shelves are very old and wooden. The curtains do not close all the way. The only good things were that the staff was very friendly. The towels and sheets were clean. The bathroom although small was clean. The hotel is being renovated and will become a Hilton.

All the staff were excellent. Everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. The motel location was good (near shopping and restaurants). The rooms bathroom shower had stains on the ceiling and mold on the tracks of the shower door, as did the area around the window in the main part of the room. The breakfast was very good and included scrambled eggs, pancakes, turkey & pork sausage, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and more.

The toilet could not flush and could not be fixed. The cleaning ladies tried to clean a dirty toilet. This seemed to be a problem throughout the facility since I saw other visitors going to their rooms with plungers and staff delivering plungers to rooms. Breakfast was just OK.
