The hotel could use updating.. Rugs were fraying where the rug and tile met

Stayed in room #122. Had a strong musky odor & wet dog stench. Kept the windows open to air out the room. Developed a sore throat during the night & woke up with a wheezing cough. Didn't explore much of the hotel & didn't go to breakfast. So mu eview is only for the room.

The hotel was good but nothing special. Breakfast was good. The hotel was clean. Our stay was for one night and it was adequate for the time we were there.

The first room they gave us had hair in the tub and toilet. The room we stayed in was very damp. They don't clean unless you ask them. I understand they are short staffed everywhere. The rugs in the entrance and back door exit was wrinkled . I'm guessing because of humidity. My husband inspected room when we were leaving to see if we left anything . Behind the tv dresser there was a dehumidifier bag full to the top with water.
