Aqua Aloha Surf Waikiki

Place needs an update. Room was dingy. Shower in the morning was lukewarm. Curtains are thin and don’t block much light. AC doesn’t keep up…had it cranked down to 62 to get the room comfortable. Pool was closed the whole time I was there. Front desk staff was friendly but unless you want towels or your room cleaned (on the 3rd day) they wouldn’t address any issues such as paying a mandatory resort fee and having no use of the pool. Bartender in the small bar in the lobby was friendly and attentive. Parking spaces are tight and require a bit of maneuvering to get into. The room had a nice view of the mountains and a great sunrise. About a 4 block walk to the beach.
