Campground Overview

Introduction

Two Medicine is approximately 13 miles from East Glacier. Sites within the campground at are generally shaded by trees, and offer some privacy from other campers. Boat tours and Red Bus tours can be found at Two Medicine. There are numerous day hiking opportunities available, including a handicap accessible trail to Running Eagle Falls. The campground remains open in late-September for primitive camping with no running water or flush toilets. Advanced reservations are required for all sites.

Two Medicine Campground's summer season is typically from late May to mid-September. There is a primitive camping season from mid-September into October, weather permitting.

Two Medicine campground is located on the east side of Glacier, approximately 13 miles from the small town of East Glacier Park on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.

Campsite capacity is limited to eight people and two vehicles, where space is available. A maximum of two tents per site is permitted.

Campsite capacity is limited to eight people and two vehicles, where space is available. A maximum of two tents per site is permitted. No potable water sources or dump station facilities are provided. Comfort stations are closed; use vault toilets located in the campground.

    Potable water is accessible in the campground, and restroom facilities are equipped with flush toilets and sinks with running water. The RV waste dump/fresh water station is operational during the summer months. There is a campstore and gift shop on the shore of Two Medicine Lake. Boat tours and Red Bus tours can be found at Two Medicine. There are numerous trailheads in the area, with the North Shore Trail extending directly from the campground.
