Campground Overview
Are you looking for a family friendly RV Park and Campground near historic Keokuk, Iowa and the surrounding area? Hickory Haven RV Park and Campground sits on 27 acres of heavily shaded ground, ½ mile off state highway 61/218, just north of Keokuk Iowa. The developed property, includes 53, level drive thru or back in sites with full hook-up (water, electric and sewer) with 30 and 50 amp metered electrical. In addition there are a large number of sites for tent camping, with fire pits and 20 amp electric. The campground offers many amenities: clean showers and restrooms, a laundry room, a playground for small children, hiking trails, fishing pond and a lighted pavilion with grill and refrigerator.

Rules
Fishing
Go fishing in our stocked fishing pond. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult while fishing. Neither residents nor non-residents under the age of 16, require a license to fish in Iowa.
Pets
Pet owners are responsible for their pets. Pets must be on a leash and please don’t tie the leash to a picnic table or tree. And PLEASE pick up after your pet. Nothing spoils a weekend quicker than a child tracking pet waste into a camper or tent. Pets are not allowed in the shower and restrooms. Call if you have more than 2 pets.
The maximum rental period is 30 days, renewable based on space and discretion of management. Deposit required for 30 day reservations.
Guest Policy
Mi casa es su casa! If you are inviting guests to your campsite, please ask that they sign in at the office as well. They are obliged to follow these same simple rules and respect our other guests.
Registration
We look forward to greeting you. Please sign in at the office before entering the campground (if you are arriving during normal business hours).
Speed Limit
The speed limit is 5 mph throughout the park. Please remain alert for small children and bicycles.
EV Charging
Electric Vehicles Traveling with an EV? We can offer a recharge and get you on the road, but don’t plug your EV into your RV site. Learn how you can recharge during your stay under Park Amenities. Ask management for assistance..
During winter, please note that water hookups may not be available or limited. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Use of Pavilion
Normally, the pavilion and its amenities are available to all guests, but occasionally we will rent it and reserve its exclusive use for larger groups for special occasions. In those cases it will be posted. See management for details.
Loyalty Club
When you arrive, please inquire about our Loyalty Club discount. We appreciate your loyalty and look forward to enhancing your experience with us.
Relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM.
Check in and check out time is 12:00 noon. Ask management for early check in or check out (we’re very accommodating).
Please douse your fire before retiring. We love the smell of burning hickory but our shade trees and green space are important to us.
There is a larger fire ring next to the pavilion for your use when gathering with friends.
Please do not move or relocate fire rings without permission from management. We are trying hard to maintain our grassy areas.
Campfires are allowed in the fire rings at each site. If you are making S’mores invite management. Please, no unattended fires.
Sorry, no clotheslines. It’s a danger to children on bicycles or pedestrians walking between sites.
There are two dumpsters on site. One is by the maintenance shed, the other is on the side of the office. Please do not burn trash, cans or bottles.
We ask that you purchase firewood on site. This will prevent the spread of disease.
Enjoy your stay!
A single tent can be set up on your pull-through or back-in RV sites for an additional $10.00 per night. Additional tents must camp in the designated tent camping area at the prevailing rate.
