POINT OF INTEREST

Wild Wild Wet

1 Pasir Ris Close, Singapore, 519599

Wild Wild Wet, one of Singapore’s largest water parks, has everything you’d want and expect in a water-themed amusement park. The park’s dozen or so rides and attractions range from waterslides and a wave pool to kids areas and the relaxing Shiok River, where guests can float leisurely around the perimeter of the park.

The Basics

A day pass to the park grants access to all 16 of its rides and attractions. Park goers can also rent private cabanas, as well as lockers and towels, in case you forgot yours at home. The water park is also included in some multi-attraction passes, which offer discounted admission on some of Singapore’s top attractions, including the Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, and the Marina Bay Sands Skypark.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Except for a few slides, Wild Wild Wet is more appropriate for young children than for thrill-seeking teenagers.
  • Book your admission ticket ahead of time to guarantee entrance and skip the likes at the ticket booth.
  • Bring plenty of sunscreen, as shade in the park is limited and tends to get snatched up early.
  • Since the park is located just a few minutes from the Changi Airport, it’s a good way to spend a few hours between checking out of your hotel and catching your flight.

How to Get There

The water park offers free shuttle service on weekdays from Pasir Ris MRT station (Exit A). On weekends, it’s a good idea to take a taxi or one of several public buses from the Pasir Ris bus interchange; get off at the first stop.

When to Get There

Hot, humid temperatures throughout the year mean any season is a good season to go to the park. The period between February and April experiences a bit less rainfall than the rest of the year. Expect huge crowds on weekends and Singaporean holidays.

Where to Cool Off in Singapore

Wet Wet Wild is one of several places to cool off on a hot Singapore day. Strap on some skis and hit the slopes at Snow City, Singapore’s indoor ski slope or glide along the ice at the skating rink inside Marina Bay Sands. The beaches of Sentosa Island offer sun, sand, and sea (for swimming). Other water park options include Port of Lost Wonder and Adventure Cove Waterpark.
