Whistler Mountain Bike Park
4282 Mountain Square, Whistler, British Colombia
Considered by many to be the best mountain bike park in the world, Whistler Mountain Bike Park features over 60 trails covering 124 miles (200 kilometers) and nearly 5,000 feet (1,524 meters) of lift-serviced vertical. With four separate zones and five skills centers, there’s something for mountain bike riders of every ability level.
Whether you’re into gentle cruisers, twisty single tracks, steep rock faces, massive granite slabs, burly big-mountain lines, or jump, drop-off, or slopestyle parks, Whistler Mountain Bike Park has it all. The lower Fitzsimmons Zone is perfect for beginners and intermediate riders, while the Creekside and Garbanzo Zones are reserved for intermediate to advanced riders. For expert riders, there’s the Peak Zone, featuring the Top of the World and some of the best views around.
Single day, multi-day, and season passes are available. For those who want to up their game, single lessons and multi-day camps are also available, as are rentals for all the gear you might need.
Trail-difficulty levels are marked by green, blue, black, and double black, in order of increasing difficulty.
If you are not familiar with how to load and unload from the chairlift, be sure to ask the lift operators for instruction.
Children require adult supervision on trails and lifts.
A separate lift ticket is required to access the Peak Zone, and there is a limit to how many passes are available each day, so book ahead.
Non-bikers can take a 2-way chairlift ride to take in the epic views.

If the epic trails at the Whistler Mountain Bike Park are not enough, or if the weather doesn’t cooperate, check out the Airdome, an 8,400-square-foot (2,560-square-meter) indoor bike park featuring wooden ramps, jumps, pipes, and a massive foam pit to practice tricks in the air. Two 3-hour sessions are available during the day in mountain bike season.
