The Basics

Part of the Suntec City complex, which includes a convention center and office towers, Suntec City Mall offers shopping, dining, leisure and entertainment options, including a movie theater, fitness center, arcades, and swimming pool. Designed with feng shui principles in mind, the mall is divided into the Galleria, Tropics, Fountain Terrace, and Entertainment Center zones. Events and shows are also held on a regular basis. Its location along the hop-on hop-off bus and amphibious Duck tour route makes it easy to combine with other sightseeing.

How to Get There

Suntec City Mall is accessible by three MRT stations, City Hall (walk via City Link mall) on the East West Line, and Esplanade or Promenade on the Circle Line. Numerous public buses also stop outside the mall. Paid parking is available and accessible from Nicoll Highway, Raffles Boulevard, Temasek Avenue, and East Coast Expressway. Discounted parking is available between 5pm and 7am.

When to Get There

Suntec City Mall is open daily from 10am to 10pm. Mornings tend to be the least busy time at the mall. The mall offers a respite for rainy or hot and humid weather. Given its vast size and offerings, you can easily spend half a day or longer here. The Magic Fountain Daily Touch sessions run from 10am to 12pm, 2pm to 4pm, and 6pm to 7:30pm.

Fountain of Wealth

The Fountain of Wealth was recognized in 1998 by the Guinness Book of World Records as the World’s Largest Fountain (though it has since lost the title). There is a smaller fountain in the center and the water of the larger fountain is turned off several times a day for the daily touch ritual—to participate, touch your hand to the water and walk around the fountain three times while making a wish..
