Madame Brasserie
Eiffel Tower, Paris, Île-de-France, 75007
Formerly known as 58 Tour Eiffel, the dining destination on the Eiffel Tower’s first level has been reborn as Madame Brasserie. Overseen by star chef Thierry Marx, the two-story restaurant and lounge offers seasonal, French-Asian cuisine. Its several dining areas welcome casual daytime visitors or those looking for a formal evening meal, and its Paris views are hard to beat.
The basics
Whether you want to enjoy a decadent start to the day, book a special-occasion lunch, indulge in apéritif snacks and cocktails, or celebrate a blow-out meal, at the all-day Eiffel Tower restaurant Madame Brasserie, you’ll be greeted with distinctly Parisian cuisine and hospitality—and a view to remember.
The two-story venue, which comprises a restaurant and a more casual lounge, caters to visitors all day long. You can prebook and pre-pay for a range of prix fixe menus online and even select your preferred seats (with upgrades for window seats and tables overlooking the Seine). While tickets to the second level and summit viewing platforms at the Eiffel Tower are sold separately, you can also book those in advance (or on the day) to extend your visit, pre- or post-meal.
Things to know before you go
Booking ahead is recommended, but the restaurant does take walk-ins for lunch and dinner if there’s space (no bookings are needed for breakfast).
Elevator tickets to the Eiffel Tower’s first level are free and included for all Madame Brasserie guests.
All visitors to Madame Brasserie (and the Eiffel Tower generally) need to go through a security screening process prior to visiting.
The restaurant is accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
If you visit Madame Brasserie for dinner, note the smart-casual dress code; leggings, athletic gear, running shoes, and flip-flops are prohibited.
Bulky items, large suitcases, non-folding strollers, and glass bottles are all forbidden for Eiffel Tower visitors.
How to get there
Madame Brasserie is located on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower. If using public transportation, take Métro Line 6 to Dupleix, Bir-Hakeim, or Trocadéro stations; Line 8 to École Militaire station; or Line 9 to Trocadéro station. You can also take the RER C to Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel station. Upon arrival at the landmark, make your way to Entrance 1, where you can show your booking confirmation to the reception desk and collect your ticket to the elevator.
When to get there
Madame Brasserie is open daily, from morning until late evening, and serves meals from breakfast to dinner. If you have a reservation, the restaurant notes you should arrive at the Eiffel Tower 30 minutes in advance, so there’s time to receive your elevator pass and go through a security screening.
Eiffel Tower restaurants
Madame Brasserie is one of several drinking and dining venues located within the Eiffel Tower. For an especially formal gourmet experience, head to the second level to Le Jules Verne, which has two Michelin stars. You can also stop for a celebratory toast at the Champagne Bar, located at the summit.
