The Basics

Most travelers visit the Just Chill Water Park independently. It’s an ideal place to spend some time if you’re traveling to Delhi in the hotter months and have children with you. If you want some private space to relax, day rooms are available to reserve and can also be booked for an overnight stay.

Things to Know Before You Go

• Entry fees are higher on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

• Solo male travelers pay a higher per-person entry fee, whereas couples pay a per-couple fee, which is cheaper than two individual tickets.

• Kids under 2.9 feet (90 centimeters) get free entry.

• Bathing suits can be rented if you don’t have your own.

• Women travelers may feel more comfortable taking a cue from local women and wearing bathing suits that cover the legs, arms, and chest.

• There’s a restaurant within the park.

How to Get There

Just Chill Water Park is on the Main Grand Trunk Karnal Road, to the north of Delhi, near the Delhi–Haryana border. About 15 miles (25 kilometers) from central Delhi, it’s best reached by private vehicle or taxi. To reach the park from the closest metro station, Jahangirpuri (yellow line), you’ll need to catch a taxi or auto rickshaw.

When to Get There

The park is open 7 days a week, from late morning until evening, and is busiest on the weekends. Delhi is very cold in the winter (November–February), so avoid the water attractions during these months, and enjoy the park’s other rides and activities instead.

Children’s Park at India Gate

Travelers with kids looking for another fun activity in Delhi—and one that’s more centrally located—should check out the Children’s Park at India Gate. Located next to the famous war memorial arch, the large park contains play equipment, a musical fountain, an amphitheater, well-manicured lawns, and more. Stay until evening to see the beautiful illuminations.
