One of Dubai’s most famous seafront neighborhoods, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) is a 6-block stretch of luxurious high-rises, home to some of Dubai’s most glamorous hotels, shops, and restaurants. At the heart of Dubai Marina, it sits between the Dubai Marina Canal and the glittering waters of the Arabian Gulf, looking out over a white-sand beach.

Many Dubai sightseeing tours include a visit to Jumeirah Beach Residence, hopping out to stroll along the legendary beachfront boulevard. Admire the views on a boat cruise around Dubai Marina, browse the shops along The Walk, and then head to Jumeirah Beach to swim and sunbathe, or opt for kayaking, jet-skiing, or parasailing. How to get there
Take the metro to Sobha Realty, Dubai Marina Mall, or DMCC station, all of which are about a 15-minute walk from Jumeirah Beach Residence. Bus lines 8, 84, and F55 also stop right on JBR, or you can take a taxi or Uber.
When to get there
Jumeirah Beach Residence is one of Dubai’s liveliest areas, and there’s always something to check out along The Walk. Hit the beach in the morning to avoid the crowds and sweltering heat, duck into the air-conditioned shopping malls in the afternoon, then head to the Marina to watch the sunset and enjoy the nightlife.
