Football Faentasium

240 Woldeukeom-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Experience all things football (soccer) at Football Faentasium in Seoul, the first football-themed experience museum in South Korea. Founded by the Korean Football Association, the museum features six different zones with interactive exhibits and virtual reality experiences where visitors can play and learn all about “the beautiful game.”

The Basics

Learn about the history of South Korea’s World Cup Challenges, and in particular the 2002 World Cup. Take photos in various football poses and positions. Test out your free kicks, penalty kicks, and goalkeeping in virtual reality, which will also allow you to step into the shoes of a national-team member just before a big game. Or look for hidden national-team members using augmented reality.

Many people visit the museum as part of a Seoul World Cup Stadium tour, which may include access to different locker rooms and practice rooms. Entrance to the museum is also included in a number of Seoul sightseeing passes.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Football Faentasium is wheelchair-accessible, but not all activities are.
