Fiske Planetarium

Boulder, CO

One of the largest planetariums in the United States, with its 65-foot (20-meter) dome, the Fiske Planetarium is part of the University of Colorado Boulder campus. A magnet for space enthusiasts, it screens a rotation of several dozen astronomy and laser shows, along with presenting talks, special NASA and eclipse events, and artistic productions.

The basics

Since 1975, the Fiske Planetarium has delighted viewers of all ages with its journeys through the cosmos, laser shows, and unique talks and events. Open to members of the public on select days of the week, the venue hosts both daytime and evening programs, and its accompanying exhibition area is open to coincide with showtimes.
