Just minutes from the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, the park is mere steps from the beach, so you can roll in the sand and then rollick on a roller coaster.

The park is typically open from late March to early October; hours vary depending on the day and season, so be sure to check the website. The best time to visit Myrtle Beach is the summer months of May to September—though to avoid large crowds and muggy weather, visit the park later in the day.
Splashes Oceanfront Water Park
Adjacent to Family Kingdom Amusement Park is a 2-acre (0.8-hectare) water park overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Splashes features 18 fun attractions including a children’s area, lazy river, water flumes, and speed slides. Combine the water park with your Family Kingdom pass for the ultimate day of adventure, or spread out the fun across two days. Splashes is typically open from Memorial Day weekend (late May) to Labor Day weekend (early September).
