How to get there

The Ethnographic Museum “Borjgalo” is located on the southern outskirts of Batumi, not far from Batumi International Airport. Some minibus routes, known locally as marshrutka, head towards the museum from the city center, but do check before boarding. Otherwise, travelers will need to travel by car or organize a taxi or rideshare, as the museum is about a 20-minute drive from Batumi city center.

The Ethnographic Museum “Borjgalo” is open daily during regular business hours. As it sits outside the city center, don’t expect it to ever get too busy. Much of the museum is outdoors, so visiting on rainy or colder days may not be very appealing.
