Busch Stadium
700 Clark Ave, St. Louis, MO
Home of the beloved St. Louis Cardinals, Busch Stadium is a must-see for baseball fans. Though its classic style hints at a long history, this 46,000-seat ballpark was built in 2006 (replacing Busch Memorial Stadium). Catch a game or take a tour of the stadium to see areas that aren’t open to the general public, plus pick up team merch at the on-site shops.
Busch Stadium is one of the highlights of baseball-loving St. Louis, and a game or tour here is a great way to cap off a day of sightseeing in the city. The stadium’s design is retro, but its amenities are what sports fans expect from a 21st-century ballpark, including food and drink outlets, services for fans with disabilities, a family pavilion, team shops, and the adjacent Ballpark Village that houses the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum.
Baseball fans of all ages will enjoy watching a Cardinals game at Busch Stadium; tickets are available online or directly at the ballpark.
The stadium hosts both day and night games; check the season schedule on the Busch Stadium website.
Guided tours of the stadium are available on days when a game is not scheduled.
The stadium is accessible to wheelchairs and offers a variety of services for disabled fans.
St. Louis’ MetroLink light rail system runs from locations across the city to Busch Stadium via the Stadium station; there are two dozen Park-Ride lots connected to the ballpark via MetroLink, as well. Visitors can also take trolley line 40 (Broadway) or 99 (Downtown) to the stadium.
By far the best time to visit the stadium is on a game day, when thousands of Cardinals fans cheer on the home team. The season runs from the spring into the fall, so check the team’s schedule online to catch a home game. For a behind-the-scenes look at the stadium, join a tour when there is no game scheduled.
Just across the street from Busch Stadium, Ballpark Village is another draw for baseball fans. Visit the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum to learn about the team’s history, shop for memorabilia at the Authentics Shop, dine at the sports bar, and even catch an inning from the Hoffman Brothers Rooftop.
