This landmark hotel, c. 1870 is within walking distance of many attractions in Old Québec, offers comfortable rooms with upscale bedding. Corporate rooms have plush bathrobes. Some rooms are compact with a single queen-size bed, and many rooms have two double beds. Ask for one of the corner rooms or a room on the upper floors as they offer a fine view of the historic downtown. Smoke free premises. 144 units. 8 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Had a wonderful stay. Staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Hotel location is great. Very clean rooms. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Quebec City!
This was our second stay at the Clarendon and we were there for 4 nights. The hotel is lovely and the location is perfect. We were close to the Chateau Frontenac and also close to excellent restaurants and wonderful shopping. Our room was a bit small but very comfortable and we had no complaints after we found out that we could get a bath mat for the slippery shower. The valet service and the wait staff in the restaurant/bar were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They made our stay easy and comfortable. The front desk was also super efficient and helpful with any request. The Clarendon is wonderful and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Quebec City.
Everyone at the hotel was super friendly, and was located right in the middle of the city! It was even a part of our walking tour, which was cool! I was surprised with how easy, affordable, and comfortable it was. Would 1000% recommend it to those who want the experience of staying in somewhere as historical as the Chateau Frontenac without shelling out so much money.
Beautiful hotel outside, inside and personnel and staff were friendly and very helpful. Had a little mix-up on check in, but was resolved easily and quickly with AAA Staff help. Rooms were fantastic and comfortable for an old hotel. Newly remodeled Bathrooms were excellent. Could use a few more hooks for ease in hanging a towel for when getting out of shower. Restaurant on premises was great!! All staff at restaurant were great at tending to every request. Cleaning staff were very nice and respectful. This Hotel close to everything we wanted, and for pickup for our tour. Definitely would recommend and would love to come back sometime.
