The itself is very nice, but not very well marked. It is next to the Convention Center, so it would be good for a Business person on an expense account, attending a convention in The Convention Center. As for a tourist, it is the pits. We were there when there were no conventions going on. the only people on the the streets in the area were homeless people and vagrants. We did not dare to go outside. We only stayed because we were there for just one night. The hotel was very expensive. It had no free breakfast. It charged for parking. The restaurant in the hotel, MAS, was expensive and mediocre. On the positive side, the bartender made an excellent Beefeater Martini and the lobby was magnificent. I would never stay there again, unless I was on a very lenient expense account attending a convention at the center across the street.
