    Location, location, location!!! Ideal location for walking to shops, restaurants and ease to get to highway and points of interest in and around Mt. Rushmore. Located in the downtown area.. Updated room in dated hotel; rug needed cleaning. Interesting lobby with a mercantile shop inside. Starbucks building attached along with a restaurant.

    This hotel is a historic restored bldg and within walking distance of downtown Rapid City, 10 miles from Rapid City Airport. Famous people have stayed here like the US presidents. They have Irish bar/restaurant, Starbucks and rooftop restaurant/bar. There are more restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Room is clean and always have fresh towels, also have small refrigerator, microwave and keurig coffee maker. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful specially Patrick, Masen and Cynthia. We enjoyed our stay.

    The hotel was in the middle of town. The rooms were great and the staff was very helpful.
