Campground Overview

Only 5 miles from Joe Wheeler state park and 3 miles from the grocery store and restaurants, Peaceful Acres is a small private country park located in Plato's Branch Farms. We offer full 50 amp service sites to all guest , a small walk to the private fishing pond along with the availability to pet and feed horses and goats. This is the place to be for an authentic peaceful getaway. Whether its for a short and or long term stay, we hope to see you soon!

Area Tips

Welcome to Rogersville Fisherman's Paradise. Numerous places to fish. Along with our Plato's Branch, which you may fish , it is on private land. 

Numerous boats Docks. One of the most popular is Joe Wheeler State Park. You can rent/ reserve a pontoon Boat at Lucy's Branch Marina. Have lunch or Dinner depending upon the day at Lucy's BARge  which sits on the Tennessee River.  

Enjoy the walking / biking trails at Joe Wheeler State Park. Make a Drive to Florence ( Home of JC Handy ) , Tuscumbia  ( Alabama Music Hall of Frame) ( Helen Keller Homeplace)  . Or  Athens and Huntsville ( Space and Rocket Center ). Decatur has the Wheeler wildlife Refuse . Just to name a few . 

You could stay for weeks and have something new to do everyday. 

Tennessee has wineries to visit and Big Machine Brewery.  Whatever your interest you can find something to do close to here.

Rules

Pet Restrictions

All pets must be kept inside or on a leash (not to exceed 6 feet). No more than two dogs per camper and pet waste must be picked up and discarded. Do not tie dogs outside. Pets must be kept on your lot.

Trees

DO NOT CUT OR DAMAGE TREES.

Fire Restrictions

Fires shall be confined to grills, fire rings, or other appropriate facilities.

Quiet Hours

QUIET HOURS ARE ENFORCED FROM 11:00 PM TO 7:00 AM. EXCESSIVE NOISE, LOUD MUSIC, AND PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS ARE PROHIBITED. NO BARKING DOGS.

Guests and Visitors

No more than 4 people, including visitors, are allowed at each campsite without prior approval.

Vehicle Restrictions

A maximum of two (2) vehicles may park at each campsite. Boat trailers are counted as vehicles, as well as motorcycles and PWS's. Parked vehicles must not hinder traffic flow or create a safety problem. Motorized vehicles are to be used for transportation only

Camping Restrictions

CAMPING IS PERMITTED AT DESIGNATED AREAS ONLY. (NO TENT CAMPING).

Late Fees

If rent is past due, late fees of $10 per day will be added to rent.

Washing Vehicles

WASHING OF CARS, BOATS, OR CAMPERS IS PROHIBITED.

Campsite Restrictions

No clothes lines, no yard ornaments or exposed wires on campsite that could be cut by mowing grass. Appliances such as refrigerators must be kept inside. Decorative lights are limited to camper.

Length of Stay

Normal length of stay in thirty (30) consecutive days. Extension of stay is at the discretion of the campground management.
