Campground Overview
Do you like relaxing in the shade of oak trees? Are you happy when camping in a beautiful grassy setting surrounded by 2500+ acres of Conservation Land? Are evening campfires and chatting with other campers on your list of camping like-to-dos? Do you feel the need to 'detox' from the internet and cell phone? Do you want to be close to floating rivers, trout fishing, caves, wineries, and Route 66? Then try camping at Pheasant Acres RV Park in the Foothills of Missouri. Please NOTE: We feel it best to let you know before you arrive, that internet/wi-fi connections are not guaranteed here...but offered free. Instead of being glued to your TV, we suggest enjoying an evening of campfire gazing while munching on s'mores. You might find that you sleep better and feel better 'unplugged.' What do you have to lose? Or better yet, look what you have to gain!
We are an RV park campground - not a resort - for camping in your RV, Pop-up, Truck Camper, or Motorhome. We do not use the word resort because we are not a resort. We cater to campers that love the out of doors, campfires, trout fishing, hunting, following the wine trail, exploring local caves, and checking out the waterfalls, old mills, and wild horse herds at Eminence, Mo for great photographic moments.
Covid has forced us to require all RVers to be fully self-contained which means using your own RV showers and restroom. That ensures your personal safety
It could be that Pheasant Acres RV Park is the place you can enjoy camping for a weekend or more. Many of our campers return to camp more than once a season. We are proud to say we have campers that camped here as children with their parents and now they return with their own children to enjoy the beauty of the Foothills of the Ozarks.
PARV is open year-round. Our busy season is from April through October. And yes!...we take reservations up to a year in advance.
PARV is surrounded by 2500+ acres of forested Conservation Land adjacent to Dry Fork Creek and the Upper Meramec River. It offers rolling hillsides for bow hunting in season, hiking, photographing, and nature study. We are near six local wineries and a craft brewery. But there's more...really? Caves to explore, 5th largest spring in Missouri, three rivers to float, Dillard's Mill, Onondaga Cave, Fort Leonard Wood, nearby Historic Route 66, great restaurants, and we are located right on the Northern Route of the Trail Of Tears. But the real reason we exist is for trout fishing - for Rainbows and Brownies - which is just a short 2 miles from us at Maramec Spring Park, one of the four Missouri State trout parks that is open year-round.
Whether it's for a short and or long-term stay, we hope to see you play!
We're pet-friendly for friendly pets. We limit to 2 dogs who must be leashed, up-to-date on shots, and cleaned up after. We do not allow visitors to bring dogs, only our guests.

Rules
WIFI
Wifi is very limited with only 10 MPBS of broadband (most homes have 50 to 100 MPBS) for the entire park of 24 sites. It is suggested that you travel with your own personal mobile hot spot from your cell provider. Our Wifi is available for you with no guarantee of connection and it is not SECURE therefore we suggest you do not do business, banking, or schooling thru it. If you try to Zoom or watch a video you can expect buffering issues. And that . . . is why we say you are welcome to 'detox' from technology while camping here.
COVID-19 2021 has created some necessary changes.
***SHOWERS and RESTROOMS are closed, as per County Health Department. ***RV's must be self-contained using your own water holding tank, sinks, shower, and toilets. We practice self-distancing at PARV. ***PARV expects you to use safety measures when connecting to water, sewer and electrical outlets. ***SEWER CONNECTION: Absolutely must use a sewer collar/adapter if you do not have a tight screw-in connection. For your convenience, we have them for sale for $8.00 in the office. ***ELECTRICAL CONNECTION: Be careful when opening up the electrical box, watching for wasps. Be sure the switch is flipped to OFF before plugging in and when unplugging. ***WATER CONNECTION: We are on a well. Electrical outage means no water can be pumped from the well therefore we expect you to fill your onboard water holding tank so you have access to water. If you use a splitter on the hydrant be sure to take it with you. ***TENTS are only allowed IN ADDITION TO THE RV SITE on certain sites at an additional cost per night and tent campers are the only ones that can have access to the locked bathroom and shower facilities. They are expected to keep the shower/restrooms clean and use the Clorox wipes before leaving the building.
Satellite TV
Due to our location in deep woods with many hills and valleys and no towers close by PLUS being in a low-density population area, connection to satellite service is sketchy. You are welcome to bring your own portable satellite dish. Those that have Direct TV seems to have a better connection. Dish TV subscribers have more difficulty connecting due to the three satellites and their helpline usually can't help RVers. We have heavy tree coverage in the Park therefore it can be difficult to find a good line of sight for your satellite. Welcome to the boonies.
Check in and Check out Times
***Check in time is 3:00 PM unless you make arrangements with the office for early check in. ***Check-in time after 9:00 PM has an additional $10 charge. ***Check-out time is 11:00 AM unless you make arrangements with to stay a little later.

Suppliers have all increased their prices (is anyone surprised?) and I am choosing to split the hike between you and me to soften the blow. *** PARV works on the HONOR SYSTEM for payment, with lock boxes at the Wood Shed and the Ice Machine ***Wood Shed (Covered)is at the entrance/exit area. Small red wagon at the shed if you need to use it and please return it. ***Ice Machine is supplied with 10 lb bags of ice located across the road from Pavilion.
Location in Foothills of the Ozarks
We are a small quiet campground for self-contained RVs surrounded by thousands of acres of forest/woods. We are not a 'brand-new' park but offer camping sites surrounded by 1,000s of acres of woods. For that reason, WiFi and Satellite TV are a little slower than you might have in the city. We are NOT A RESORT but there is so much to do nearby: swimming in the nearby Meramec River, kayaking on three nearby rivers with local outfitters, several wineries and music venues within 15 miles, public golf course, museums, sightseeing on Old RT 66, fishing at a historic trout park from March through October 2 miles away, Historic Mother Road Route 66 places to visit, and we are open year-round if you like to bow hunt in spring, fall or winter, or catch and release trout fish from mid-November to Mid-February
RV Length Restrictions
Our RV park cannot take RVs over 43 FEET IN LENGTH due to our road structure and maneuverability.
Cancellation Policy
REFUND: 100%
Additional Vehicles
There is a $1.00 nightly charge for a second vehicle
