The presence of the Snake River guarantees a variety of recreational opportunities, including boating, camping, fishing and swimming. Hikers and bikers take advantage of the Clearwater and Snake River National Recreation Trail, a paved stretch that runs along 19 miles of river shoreline in the Clarkston-Lewiston area.
