The Hills Hotel

I respect that the hotel tried to upgrade certain aspects of their hotel however, unfortunately, the walls of the room are so thin it felt like the people on the other side of the wall were in my room. I was woken up many times to the sound of somebody hacking up lung butter. The doors of the rooms are not spring loaded so anytime somebody closed their room door you would hear it slam and shake the walls (All hours of the night) I had the pleasure of hearing complete phone conversations from my neighbor which made me feel like I had to tiptoe in my own room so my neighbors wouldn't be disturbed. When you walk into the hotel its a ghost town. One person at the front desk on their computer and no acknowledgement what-so-ever when you come and go. No hello or goodbye. The first few days I was there I put the do not disturb sign on the door, for I could reuse towels for a few days and make my own bed. By day 3, I removed the sign from my door. I got back to the hotel later that evening and my room had not been cleaned. I called housekeeping which routed me to the front desk. I requested house keeping and I was advised they had gone home for the day. I was informed that I have to ask for housekeeping otherwise they wont clean. I advised well somebody was in my room for they replaced the water bottles but that was it. No towels. I asked if they could please clean my room the following day. He said well you have to request it tomorrow before you leave. The gentleman in the bar area was very nice and the keyboard player was very nice so there is that. But the rooms were less than par if you want to be able to sleep.

I was very disappointed in this hotel in so many ways. It was a noisy room, the fan was loud and you could hear outside traffic. It is located off the freeway. The bathroom had a mirror located so far from the sink it would be impossible to put eyeliner on! Make note girls! Speaking about the bathroom, they installed a shelf with pump shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I didn't feel comfortable using these items with people I don't know. Lastly, the room service was terrible. We ordered breakfast. It came late and cold and then they forgot the utensils. We had to eat standing up because there wasn't and extra table or chair! I expected more from a 3 star hotel.

Reservation was for a king size bed, we received two twin beds. Found out that since I used AAA to book it, it does not register on their system.

Such a mediocre spot for the price. I was expecting a lot more and got a lot less. Did not have all my amenities in my room as described. I was also given a double queen bed when I reserved a room for 1 king. Also asked for more toiletries and I was asked to walk to the front desk to pick it up. When I arrived at front desk, I was told they could’ve brought it to my room. Service and room were not the best. Especially for the price. Won’t be coming here again

Only the furniture was nice. Walls are paper thin unfortunately. Water pressure was awful, it took twice as long to shower. There was a "bar" but it wasn't open. They are also the prime location for a church on Sunday mornings and they are also a place where people store vehicles so there are a lot of them parked off in the back. It's a large charge for all that is available and not available.
