We had to cancel after checking in because our room had a strong smell of cigarettes or something else that immediately gave me a headache. Front desk moved us to another room, but this second room had stained sheets, furniture, walls, and unclean surfaces.

Staff was on knowledgeable about the area and knowledgeable on how to perform basic requirements for servicing the customer

The hotel is more rundown than I am used to seeing from a Ramada. The carpet and linoleum floors looked grungy. The room I was in had a carpet that made you grateful that the lights were not bright. The very nice staff member who checked me in told me to keep my car in the front of the hotel where there are cameras because it would reduce the likelihood of it being broken into. He also upgraded me to a room with a king-sized bed for free, however the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It really felt like sleeping on a board. There were tiles in the bathroom that were loose and cracked. Several had very spongy flooring under them. It made me very worried about using the bathroom. The tub is raised about 2 inches off the floor, so it is really easy to misjudge the distance and either whack your toes when getting in or lose your balance getting out. I did have a fridge and a microwave in my room, but no chair, other than the standard uncomfortable desk chair. Overall, it was just okay. I don't know that I would stay here again unless there were no other choices.
