Listen to hits recorded by Stax at the Wall of Sound listening station; see replica recording equipment; and dance along to Soul Train on the Express Yourself dance floor.

Part of the Soulsville Foundation, the Stax Museum of American Soul Music shares a campus with the Stax Music Academy and Soulsville Charter School. Both the music academy and charter school are dedicated to providing education and performance opportunities. The academy focuses on music education and at-risk youth, and the charter school is open to students from throughout the region and focuses on academics as well as music.
