Overview
From Brussels drive to Namur and drive over the Meuse river and all the way to Bastogne.Snack lunch (not incl.) See the Sherman tank, the McAuliffe square, the Patton square and the Mardasson memorial. Walk to the foxholes at Bois Jacques before returning to Brussels (2h drive). NEW! Optional visit to the Bastogne War Rooms, the McAuliffe’s historical cellar where he uttered his famous "NUTS" in response to the surrender request from German forces besieging the town of Bastogne (extra charge). During this tour I shall introduce you to Belgium and the Ardennes region. We'll talk about history, education, economy, politics and more! As I'm not an expert in military history, the in-depth details about the Battle of the Bulge will be exposed to you at the exhibition via an original design interspersed with three “scénovisions”, authentic multi-sensorial and 3D dramatizations, which enable full immersion in History!
