While everything was not 100% perfect it was close. The hotel itself is fabulously decorated. The staff were for the most part wonderful and seemed to care a lot that everything was great. The breakfasts were delicious. The service there was great. My room, while having no view at all (which I knew but I was hardly there) was fabulous - comfortable bed, perfect showers, good size tub, easy to use thermostat... I slept well and that is not always the case. The hotel is a good 20 minute walk to the fun part of town. My partner wasn't able to come at the last minute, and I was quite happy there on my own. There were only two things that made it not quite 100%. There was a miscommunication/issue related to my change of departure, and between AAA and the hotel each was referring me to the other one and it got a bit aggravating. After a couple of days AAA sorted it out. I also had a disappointing service in the lounge area one afternoon. Nothing big, just inconsistent with the rest of the service. Regardless it was a lovely place to stay and I would happily do it again.
