Don't like hotels that you have to pay for parking when they have a lot on site. This is the only downfall for this hotel. I did sign up for the reward program and was then given free parking but if it's their lot it should be free. Parking decks are a different situation and paying then is understandable. I rated the hotel staff as average because I don't like when you talk to two people about one hotel policy and receive different answers. The parking lot was cull because of renovation supplies taking up some spaces and then a large truck took up three spaces. I inquired if we could park in the 10 minute space at the front because no other spaces was available in the parking lot and was told yes. We left out for dinner and came to there still being no spaces. When we came back and alerted them that there were still none available and to give our car information my husband and I were told not to park there as we would be towed. Now if I had paid the $12 a day I would have been upset. As I walked out to move the car two cars existed the lot and I was able to get a parking space.
