We enjoyed our stay at this very modern, nice, and clean hotel. The daily free breakfast was AWESOME! Best of all, we found all of the hotel staff very nice and friendly. However, our only two disappointments about our stay here were not having timely room service, and discovering upon our check-in that we had to pay daily for parking. Since we are clean and tidy people, we really do not need daily maid service and could probably easily go seven full days without any maid service), so we were okay with learning that our room would be cleaned every other day (out of our four day and 3 night stay). However, on the first day that our room was supposed to be cleaned, we had left the hotel in the morning (about 7:30 AM) and had returned back to our room about 2:55 PM and discovered our room had not been cleaned. Then about 3:05 PM, the maid knocked on our door wanting to clean our room, but we declined to have our room cleaned, because we were back in our room for the rest of the day. So we were disappointed they came so late to clean our room. In regards to the parking, I thought that the parking was free at the time of my booking as I did not see anything initially saying there would be a daily parking charge. So upon checking-in, I was surprised to learn there was a daily charge for parking. Since I did not know for sure, I did not want to misspeak and have an unpleasant discussion with hotel reception agent. Upon returning home, I went to the travel website for this hotel and in regards to parking at this particular hotel, it said “Guests appreciated the easy and convenient parking at the property, with ample space available and no charge.”. So I now feel cheated on the daily parking charge. Other than these two issues, I had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at this hotel, and I would definitely stay here again. I would have rate our stay five stars had it not been for the room cleaning and paid daily parking issue.
The Hampton Inn in Forest Part was great, clean comfortablle and friendly. The location was canvenient to all the sites we visited and plenty of parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool good, but wished there was a hot tub also! The breakfast was good, and plenty to choose from. We would stay there again, the price was right!

Staff went out of way to be helpful when traveling companion needed first aid supplies after a fall just prior to arrival. Allowed us to check in early and gave us a room near the elevator to limit amount of walking. Food choices at breakfast were very good and kept replenished unlike at some other hotels. Easy access to freeway. Friendly staff.
No daily maid service, no closet, no shuttle to airport, no microwave. no comfy blankets.
