Our room was clean enough, but the room and hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The town/location of the facility does not feel safe.

Everything was just "OK." The egg breakfast entrees all had cheese in them, not good for lactose intolerant people. The public WIFI is totally insecure. At least it could have a password!

There was a bit of confusion when we first arrived. The attendant gave us the wrong room number. There was a person already in the room. The guest was very understanding and, fortunately, was not upset.
We stayed two nights, one week apart, on our way to and from our vacation destination. I thought the room had an unusual odor but it was otherwise okay until the smoke detector started chirping. I called the front desk and someone came right away and removed it from the wall. By 4AM, a smoke detector in the hall began chirping which made for a restless night. On our 2nd stay, we were on the ground floor near an unlocked exit door. The room wreaked with cigarette smoke odor. The nasty odor lingered all night and I couldn’t wait to get out of that disgusting hotel. This must be why it was the cheapest hotel in Elyria Ohio!
