It is one of the better places to stay in Superior due to its location on the water. I've visited Barker Island several times over the years. The only complaint I would have is the strong smell of the pool's chlorine due to the central location of the pool. Don't know that they can do anything about this without remodeling the hotel, however....
The property was OK but not outstanding. The atmosphere was good the service was good the room was so so. The restaurant menu was some what limited the food was OK, but the price was to high for the quality of the food.

Great, friendly hotel. If you do plan on staying and you want to utilize the hot tub, ask if there is any children's events going on.
