ATV
No ATV's/off-road vehicles to be driven on the premises at any time. If you are hauling one with you, that's fine, but please do not use them on the property.
Children
his is a family-friendly park, meaning children are allowed. Children under the age of 13 should be supervised/accompanied at all times.
Walking Trails
We have developed a nice walking trail through the woods at the rear of the park. There is a main trail that goes around in a big circle that takes you through some interesting scenery. Please note that the Northeast Texas area has all kinds of different wildlife, including venomous and non-venomous snakes. Both have been spotted near the trails, tho we have never seen any on the trails themselves. There are also Box Turtles, Deer, Armadillos and other species of wildlife. There is a bridge and a set of stairs at the rear of the trail. Please use caution when crossing the bridge and especially when climbing up the stairs, please exercise caution when climbing the stairs.
Bicycle
No bicycles to be used on the property, excepting you can ride down the driveway to the street. Cooks road heads south to the Interstate (there are no on or off ramps) with a bridge that goes over it and up another country road. Plenty of biking opportunity in this region!
No generators
Since there are full hookups at every site, there is no need for the use of generators, they are noisy and disturb the peace of other guests. The only exception will be in the case of a power outage.
