Covering 8 acres (3 hectares) of downtown Hua Hin, Vana Nava Water Jungle is one of Thailand’s largest water parks. In addition to around 20 slides and rides, some of which will thrill even adults, the park has a kids’ zone, food options, massage stations, and retail outlets. The adventure area features a ropes course, surf simulator, and climbing wall.
Hua Hin is well over two hours’ drive from Bangkok, so travelers overwhelmingly visit Vana Nava Water Jungle from within the Hua Hin area. Day passes are priced by traveler height, with discounts available for advance and online booking. Travelers over 4 feet tall (122 centimeters tall) count as adults; kids under 3 feet 6 inches tall (111 centimeters tall) get in free; children in between enjoy discounted rates. Choose a ticket-only deal or add round-trip transfers and/or a meal.

Vana Nava Water Jungle is in the Nong Kae district of Hua Hin, about 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) south of Hua Hin train station. If you’re traveling reasonably early in the day and are confident with Thai local transport, catch the baht bus (songthaew or covered pickup) from the station—look for white songthaew with blue lettering. Many travelers will find it easier to book a package that includes transfers.
Vana Nava Water Jungle is open from morning until early evening, seven days a week. Hua Hin is a popular weekend escape from Bangkok, so aim to visit during the working week to beat the lines.
Besides a wealth of pools and a lazy river, it’s the high-drama slides that make Vana Nava Water Jungle so special. The Abyss is 92 feet high (28 meters high) and features a dramatic raft ride around a funnel. AquaLoop includes a full loop at speeds up to 37 mph (60 kph), while Freefall begins with a near-vertical drop. The Boomerango, one of Thailand’s longest slides, extends 587 feet (179 meters).
