Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution's Exhibit Center, 15 School St., offers displays about the oceanographic research conducted by the institution. Visitors can walk through a full-size model of the interior of the Alvin, a research submersible, and learn about the discovery and exploration of the Titanic. Also included are models of remote-operated vehicles and displays about deep-sea exploration and marine mammals. In summer guided tours are offered. Parking, which is limited, is on-street and metered. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation from Falmouth. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
